Watch where you step, for the monsters could be right behind you. Do you have a guardian angel? Our world has seven, all led by one man (who is currently indisposed due to heartburn, nausea, indigestion, upset stomach and diarrhea).

Ep. 10, Arc 1 (Psychic City Arc), Ep. 5: Don't Know Much about Chemistry

Keith, Ben and Derrek faced the figure that had just landed. It was surrounded by a cloud of dust that was slowly clearing. The figure began to walk forward. As the dust began to clear and the figure moved even closer, Ben gasped in surprise. "Dr. Graffis? Is that you?"
"Why hello there Ticking Time Bomb. Nice to see you're alive and well. That means I can get rid of you myself!" She cackled and laughed as she finished her sentence, and threw a test tube at Ben. It exploded at his feet, and then knocked him back quite far. Another flew at Keith and then one at Derrek, and they both got knocked back as well. Derrek slammed into Ben, and Derrek laid on top of him knocked out. Ben couldn't move, and Keith was too disoriented to do anything.

"Hey Essence," Ben shouted, "now would be a time learn to fight."
Dr. Graffis looked over and saw her. "Hey Essence, I didn't see you there. Would you like some chemicals too?" She threw a test tube at Essence, but Essence shot her wing out, caught it and crushed it with air pressure (literally). "Oh, a feisty one," Dr. Graffis said. "Bring it on!" She ran at Essence, who stood up and floated easily into the air. Essence sighed, then swooped down and shot toward Dr. Graffis.

Santana tried to remember where he had seen the other angels, but he wasn't too sure. Besides, he had a long way to head, and not knowing where he was going, he decided to rest a bit. He silently cursed his memory and his weak body. He looked below him to see that he was no longer above the ocean. "What a relief," he said to himself. "I could land now if I wanted to." He still continued flying though. He wanted to find a safe place to land. He decided the newly cleared out Orlando.
He landed at SeaWorld, where he himself met with the manatees. They saw his wings and told him to send an urgent message to Keith and the other angels. "Great, two urgent messages and I still don't know where they are..." he muttered. However, the kindly manatees had put a tracking device on Keith, and pinpointed him in the lower Appalachians. Santana took off toward the other angels with much haste, after a nice meal, of course.

As the two met, Essence braced herself with her wings. Dr. Graffis ran straight into them, which allowed Essence to pick her up and throw her far back. Dr. Graffis landed on her feet and cackled. "Is that the best you can do?" She started throwing a large amount of test tubes and vials at Essence, but Essence dodged or crushed them all. Essence expanded her wings to cover the area in a dense fog, and then flew above. She swooped in and, grabbing a blunt training sword from Ben's wings, dove at Dr. Graffis. However, Dr. Graffis was on her feet and produced a large metal rod and began swinging it around. They swung at each other blocked the other's attacks. Despite the fog Essence created, they seemed to both be on equal ground. Essence jumped backward and sucked up the fog, and then saw why. Dr. Graffis was using a gigantic stirrer, one the size of a staff easily giving her twice the reach. She was able to stand and swing wildly and still defend herself from Essence's attacks. Essence sighed.

"Hey Ben, Keith - either of you have any ideas?"
"What did you say little flower?" Keith responded. "Sure, I'll play with your dolly."
"He seems to still be a tad disoriented," Ben said to her. "You need to give yourself an advantage. Anything else you can do with those wings?"
She paused for a moment. "I just got an idea...thanks Ben."
"No prob. Just beat her and then get this thing off me...please."

Essence took her stance with the sword again, then reached her wings around and engulfed the sword itself.
"Not much good that'll do you!" Dr. Graffis shouted as she charged Essence. Instead of attacking back, Essence dodged her attacks, and then shot up into the air, taking her hands out of the wings...but not the sword. The sword itself was now in the wings, being churned around in the clouds. Dr. Graffis then jumped and swung her staff at Essence. Essence simply rose higher to avoid it. "You can't hit me up here Dr. Graffis."
"Fine then, I'll just have to bludgeon your friends!"

There was a loud crack, then an even louder snap. It came from Essence's wings, where she had just shattered the sword into millions of tiny pieces inside her cloudy wings. "Dr. Graffis, I hate to say it, but I never learned much in your chemistry class. However, I do remember one thing...the water cycle."
Essence began to glow a silvery blue color, and her wings became smaller at the turned into water. It began to rain from her wings, with each drop containing a shard of metal from the sword. Essence focused and localized the rain on Dr. Graffis, who began spinning her stirrer in hopes of stopping the shards. However, there were too many, and Dr. Graffis was assaulted by the raining shards. She ran off, with Essence following her with the rain. She eventually left Essence's range, where Essence then dropped down and let her wings dissipate, the remaining metal and water falling to the ground together. "Well...that was fun...not."

"Hey, you beat her pretty well," Ben said. "And you used smarts, not strength or brutality. That's always good."
"Yeah," Keith said, "that is always good. Wait...what we talking about?"
"Great to see you're no longer disoriented," Essence said.
"Yeah," said Ben. "Oh, and we were talking about moving this sphinx off of me."
"Oh yeah, that sounds good." Keith and Essence then began to attempt to roll Derrek off of Ben, but with no avail.

"YOU WHAT[interrobang]" Mr. Free shouted at Mr. Schmadeke. "Our leaders will have your head if this gets out."
"That's why I need your help. Strebel and I are going after him, because he can't have gone too far. We need you to stall our leaders until we return with him. You have to make sure that neither Oeffling nor Tauberry find out. If either of them do..."

"You needn't worry about that," said a third new voice. It came from a fairly tall man with good posture. He was completely bald, and spoke with good diction. "We already knew that this would happen."
"Mr. Tauberry, sir." Schmadeke seemed startled. "I apologize for letting the angel leave, he was under my watch, and it was..."

"Like I said, you needn't worry. We knew all along that we could only contain him for so long. We just needed to capture him for a short period. All we need him to do is convey a message, which I am sure will be sent."
"Where shall we go now sir?"
Mr. Free's radio went off. It announced a meeting in the main room.
"That is actually why I came to fetch you two. We are waiting for you. Uphoff has returned."

In the meeting room, the three took their seats. The angel wasn't even discussed at the meeting. It was all about what Uphoff had discovered, and Dr. Graffis's defeat of course.
"We needn't worry," Tauberry said at the end. "Dr. Graffis may be a rogue, but she is a resourceful one. I am she those kids have not heard the last of her on this night..."
