If you lived in a world where criminals seemed to perform amazing feats and you knew there was something you weren't being told, what would you do?
Imagine a world that often seemed lawless, that often seemed like the police were afraid to apprehend criminals, and perhaps for good reason. It seems like there is someone pulling the strings, some underground unit trying to keep this quiet, but they don't seem to be doing a good job. You can see the criminals, and you can see that they are...more than human, in a way.

If criminals were more powerful than the police and the world didn't want you to know, would you go along with it or stand up and fight?
They can beat the police in a fight, and they know it, as do the police. Everyone else seems blind to this fact, but what can you do? It's not like you can fight them on your own terms. Plus, if you did, you know that someone else, whoever is suppressing the info, would be on you faster than you can say "Crazy Criminals."

If clothes could give you superpowers, would you wear them or shy away?
Your closet just grew in size...and you have many new clothes, mysterious clothes. What do they do, and how did you get them? No one notices that you never had them before, not even your family or friends. What's odder is that the clothes seem to give you supernatural abilities.

If your powers depended on what outfit you wore, would you think more carefully about what you put on in the morning?
These different items of clothing...they give you different powers. Some enhance existing abilities, others create new ones, and still others seem to have more power that you don't know how to use... Some don't seem to do anything, and others feel like they could do too much. You normally just want to make sure what you're wearing is clean, looks good, and isn't terribly tight, but these are something else. It seems as if some of them even have minds of their own...how odd.

If you had these clothes, would you ever stop to ask "why me"?
How did these clothes even come into your possession in the first place? Is it mere coincidence that these clothes came to the only person seemingly aware of what is going on in society? Were you meant to fight these people or join them? And why you anyway? Someone else easily could have noticed the wrongs and received this wardrobe of awesome power.

What would happen if you decided to take matters into your own hands, stopping these criminals yourself and then finding the source of this subterfuge?
It wouldn't be that hard. You've already figured out what a handful of these outfits do and can decently use a couple. You even know which ones to shy away from, which ones have little use and which ones seem to have minds of their own. You could easily stop a handful of criminals, and that would surely attract the attention you need to accomplish the feat of getting that mysterious underground unit to confront you.

What then?
Who knows...

Would any of this change if that wardrobe was composed entirely of Hawaiian shirts?
