Why does the universe hate me? If someone could answer that, I would be ever so grateful...

Well, this week has just complete and utter crap in my book. Most everything that could go wrong has gone wrong, and nothing I do seems to work.
Lets see, where to begin...

I was about to tell my friend about what I heard from the girl he wants to ask to prom (as in I had to wait until the next period, and then I would see him and tell him) when I found out that there was a decent chance that either I was wrong, the situation changed, or she had lied. Thus, I really couldn't tell him, knowing I could be right or wrong. He did ask her, and she said yes, but I don't think she is really all that thrilled about the idea, which supports the idea that I was right.

One of the leading proponnents in the "Ben, you should go to Prom" rally (my best friend) has just told me that he probably won't be going because "Its just a dance. An overpriced dance." He then said that I still should go, and acknowledged his hipocriscy.

There was an actual fire at our school yesterday (a small, accidental electrical fire) that took place in the library back room with the microwave. While nothing was damaged, there is a very good chance that we will loose a lot of privelages for it (I mean the library itself, not me and the other aids. It was actually one of the librain's fault, combined with the fact that the microwave wasa kinda cruddy...)

Yesterday, another one of my friends whom I had thought one of my best and closest told me that he no longer cares about anything I have to say that is serious in nature. This came a day after he shirked all his library duties to do his AP Bio homework (a period before it was due) and bugged me to help him study for our french test in math class, whille I was working on my homework for that class [gasp]. Now, both of these things he could have easily done the night before, or in the morning, but instead, at both those times, he was playing video games (he was at school, playing his PSP instead of doing homework...great, huh). He is very self-centered, and thinks he can freely insult me whenever and however he wants, and its all fine, because "its all in good fun" and "I take things way too seriously". That may be true, but it is still assinine, right?

Tensions are also growing between me and the valedictorian. He seems to think that he can get by school not doing any homework and just doing well on the tests (which he does in his five AP classes). However good or bad that may be. he is an asshole. Really, hard to believe anyone can actually stand him. One of our friends he greets by calling him "fatass" or "jackass" depending on his mood. Plus, he seems to think it is all about mischief, and loves to concoct strategies to blow up the world, or just blow up stuff period. He also likes pranks and pestering, and was telling me this morning as I was editing a friends essay for my english class that I should "just take random shit out...because it would be funny." He also thought it fun to make up gym in my period, and then bother me while I was lifting wieghts because "your technique wasn't perfect enough, you have to do this..." He is also a creeper. He asked a girl (who really doesn't like him) to Prom. She said no, but because she had to go to an art show that day. His plan now is not to go to prom, but instead her art show, and "see if anything happens." Thats just wrong.

My prom prospects aren't looking too bright either, as the girl who I intend to ask has not responded back to the only way I can actually contact her. Thus I am at a standstill - I have got a week and a half to purchase tickets (they only sell them on four days, next saturday, then three day the following week) and still do not know if I am going, and if I will have a date.

I was going to write yesterday to relieve some stress, so I turned on the other computer. I had a great idea, and was thinking about it as word opened. Then, I had a new doocument opened, was about to type when my dad called me downstairs for a moment. I went, answered his question, then went back upstairs, and the idea had left my head completely. No biggie, I thought, I'll just work on something else. I opened another document (already started), typed a sentence, and then ran into a wall. But I then got this great idea for a story, went back to the new document, started typing, got about a paragraph done...and my computer froze as I was going to type ctrl+s (save). Damnitall! Lost that idea too, and have nothing left.

Decided I would play some video games to relieve stress...I played some pokemon, but I had to stop when the retard pokemon started to get to me. The first one was a lvl 53 tyrouge who used...wait for it...tackle. A lvl 53 fighting type...used tackle...on an ice type...you'd think it could at least use a fighting type move, seeing as its supr effective...I don't know. Anyway, I'd explain the second case, but it would take way too long. Well, decided to quit pokemons and play something else, went to my wii, put in de Blob, and then got called down for dinner. Ate dinner, went back upstairs, loaded it up, was about to play, got called down by my mom, who basically yelled at me for little good reason, then I went back upstairs, forgot that I had de blob in, and just went to lay down, After about thirty minutes of thinking, I realized de Blob was still in the wii. I went to play it, and my friend calls me. It is almost impossible to play de Blob while on the phone, so I didn't even try. I talked to him for a while, hung up, showered, went to eat something to settle my stomach, went to grab the laptop and go online before sleeping, and it was gone, up in my moms room, at 10 at night, when I kinda can't go in there because of a want to go on the comp. So I woke up today with all my stress intact.

Internet still isn't up on the good comp, still don't really know why, and I tried contacting the makers...couldn't actually reach then...I wonder why...

And to make matters worse, I apparently cracked my iPod screen somehow, and cracked it good. I have no idea how, as it is normally protected just fine where I have it during the day. But I can no longer see almost all of the screen, so I can only hear what is playing, and maybe see a bit of the name...but cannot choose playlists, authors, albums, specific songs anymore, nor can I play games or watch movies...and I definately do not have the money to buy one.

On top of that, I found out that some of my friends are having major woes as well. One friend can't afford to go to prom (it isn't that much, but he still can't afford it, so his date is buying his ticket). Another friend rear-ended another car and has to pay for the damages herself, which ruins her plans of changing her name and distancing herself from her (immensely) verbally abusive father. And a third is haveing even more problems with Mr. Valedictorian thatn I am...he pretty much wants to deck him, but really can't, as he would get in way too much trouble for it to be worth it.
EDIT: another one of my friends here on NG is having troubles as well. Nothing seems to be going right for me or any of my friends...I wonder why...

So yeah, I am having fun here. And btw, anyone who makes a "good friday will make it better" joke, I will personally hunt you down, find you, and punch you in the face. Thank you.
