If there was one thing that I could put down in this space...one thing I could tell you so that you could all get a view of my life...one thing that would be a glimpse of who I truly am...just one thing showcasing myself, then my life would be really lame

My job has many good points, and many bad...
Okay, so basically, my job title is Democratic intern. Now, what exactly does this mean?
Basically, I am an intern for the Democratic Party in Lake County, IL. Now what do I do?
I walk around with the candidate, and wield a Palm Pilot. I use it to tell them what houses to go to, I can tell them who lives there (voting record, age, gender) and then I record the responses to the two questions - what is your number one issue, and can we count on your support.
Good things -It is easy work, and I get great pay...not to mention basically all I do is walk around, pushing buttons and talking to people who are like minded. I also learn a lot about politics (which is a possible future) and get a lot of advise.
Bad things -I only work one day a week...and for only 4 to 6 hours. Now, some people may love the sound of it, but I really wish I could work more. Plus, the time I do work, is basically my lunchtime saturday. That means I eat an extremely late lunch, and then an early dinner (we always do on saturday). This also clashes with my unalterable early lunch at school on weekdays. Plus, when I got to college, I kinda cannot keep the job...
Plus, since the job only exists around election time...
Oh well. Its a job, I get paid, I enjoy it, and I learn quite a bit. Not my ideal job, but I kinda have to wait until I get out of college toi get my ideal job...
Ben was here...
EDIT: Kinda random...but I just found out that my state, Illinois, considers Pluto a planet again. Theres another state, but I don't care...
