If there was one thing that I could put down in this space...one thing I could tell you so that you could all get a view of my life...one thing that would be a glimpse of who I truly am...just one thing showcasing myself, then my life would be really lame

Okay, so I got some feedback, always nice, so here's part two. This part is more just filler in the story, but is serves as somewhat comedic, and also gives some light on the nature of the brothers. It may take a while to put up more in the story (I literally just finished writing this part...) so next will probably be a bit of explanation into the brothers, who they are based on, and the story in general.
FOUR AND A HALF YEARS LATER...
Little Brother was sitting on that same beach one night, waiting for the sunset, yet again. However, this time, instead of having his brothers on his right, he had his first real date. At fifteen, he might have been a little late compared to his peers, but his date didn't notice-or if she did, she didn't mind. She was perfectly content sitting on the beach with him. They had been sitting there talking for almost an hour, talking about the end of school-just a week away-and what final exams could bring. They talked about family and about plans for the summer, which is when Little Brother remembered something.
"I have a question..."he stammered, not sure of how to ask it.
"Yes LB?" she said, turning to look him in the eyes.
"I was wondering...can you help me with something?"
"With what LB," she said, thinking she may have misread him.
"My mom and Dad have put me and Big Brother in charge of Middle Brother's birthday party. It's his 18th, and it is only a month or so away, but I still don't know what to do.
"Well LB, your brother will be happy with any kind of party-that's just the way he is. And your other brother's graduation from college is next weekend, so he'll be able to help you very soon. But I don't think you should really worry about it that much..."
"I know, but his 16th birthday was such a let down for him, as was last year's. I want this one to be special. Besides, Big Brother seems to be growing distant."
"Seriously LB-don't worry about it. You have me to help you, and plenty of time as well. You know, right now, most people would be worried about finals or their summer vacation-but not you. You are worried over your brother's birthday. I find that amazing...you are such a great person for doing so."
Little Brother looked at the stars and sighed. He remembered the promise he and his brothers had made. "Maybe I am...maybe I'm not," he said. "That's just the way us three are-well, maybe not Big Brother anymore, but still...we look out for each other, and care for each other." He paused, then looked back at her. "I have another question..."
"Yes LB?"
"Why is it that every time we talk, every time you start to speak, your second word is always LB?"
She looked at him and sighed. "Sometimes I wonder about you..."
"Only sometimes?" he said with a smirk.
"You know...you are starting to become really annoying..."
"Hey-that's twice in a row that you didn't-a new record!"
"Lawrence Brentwood, you are getting on my last nerve..."
"Three Times! Woo-hoo!"
She then tackled him and they proceeded to roll across the beach, laughing...
At that same time, Middle Brother was studying for his Senior Year finals-or at least that's what it appeared, and that's what he said. However, he was actually doing research about outer space. He was still enthralled in the world beyond the world, and it seemed nothing could satisfy his yearning for knowledge. However, as he was online, reading up about a strange pattern of meteorites, he was suddenly IM'ed by Big Brother.
"Studying for your finals Middle Brother?" is what Big Brother's message read.
"Like I need to," he replied. "The only tough finals this year were the AP ones, which I've already taken. So I guess the answer is no..."
"Good. I need to talk to you about something funky I saw on campus."
"Really?" Big Brother could tell that Middle Brother was typing sarcastically, but didn't mind. He was used to it. "Lemme guess...you saw Big Foot...no wait, the Loch Ness, hundreds of thousands of miles away from her home. No wait, even stranger, you saw your roommate actually cleaning up after himself."
Big Brother found the last one quite funny. "No, if it was that last one, I'd be in the hospital, suffering from cardiac arrest after my inevitable heart attack."
"True enough. So what is it that was so strange?" By now, he was closing up his Internet windows, as he knew that the conversation would leave him no time to do anymore research tonight.
"Actually, it's about this strange meteor shower I saw last night." Middle Brother stopped in his tracks.
"Elaborate...please..." He immediately found the site he had just left.
"Well, the main reason I thought it was weird was because there was nothing predicting it, and now I can't find anything about what happened. It's almost as if we weren't supposed to know it happened..."
"Here..." Middle Brother typed, embedding the link in his IM. "This should help explain it some. If the meteors you saw looked liked the ones this site describes, well then we know it's true"
Big Brother took a minute, and then replied, "This is an exact match. Everything fits...so that means..."
"That means," said Middle Brother, finishing Big Brother's thought, "that in exactly 30 days, we should be able to see these again, right by our house."
"That sounded overly dramatic, Middle Bro. I think you should get some sleep."
"Or at least stop my research. I'm way too tired to sleep."
"I won't even ask."
"I'd be offended if you did."
"Goodnight Middle Bro. Say hi to Little Bro for me."
"Will do. Goodnight." And with that, Big Brother signed off. Little Brother closed his research windows, like he said he would. He also closed his textbooks, and then decided to turn off the computer. But before he could do that, another IM popped up on the screen.
"Hey Malcolm, can you help me study for the French final?" It was Middle Brothers friend Fernando.
"Sure thing Fernando. Just let me grab my book..."
"Thanks MB"
"Hey BB-you done talking with your brother yet?" It was Big Brother's roommate, Andrew.
"Yeah. You wanna tidy this place up some? We should probably prepare to leave after finals are done."
"Clean? What's that? Does not compute."
"Just shut up and help me move this thing?"
"Fine, fine..."
They moved around the beds and the desks so that they could grab the area rug. They picked it up, and as Andrew was rolling the large rug into a cylinder, Big Brother saw something sparkling beneath it. "Can you hold this for a sec Andrew?"
"Sure," he replied sarcastically, "not like I'm going anywhere else..."
"What is with the sarcasm tonight," he muttered, as he bent down to pick the shiny object up. "Oh," he said looking at it, "Andrew, do you know what this is?"
"I know what it isn't-helping me with this rug. Hey, it's just like you."
"Sorry, I'm just amazed at this," Big Brother said, sitting down on the bed.
"Still holding the rug here..."
"This was Little Brother's Lucky nickel-he gave it to me when I started college, hoping it would help me," Big Brother said, mostly to himself, as he was now ignoring Andrew.
"You know, this rug isn't getting any lighter..."
"I remember when he first got it-when they came out with those new nickels. This was the first of the new ones he got, so it became is lucky one."
"Don't worry about me, not like I want do something other than stand here with this..."
"I can tell it's his, because he engraved LB on it. I can't believe it's been under there all this time."
"I can't believe I'm still holding this thing..."
"I wonder how he's doing right now...I wonder if he's thinking of me right now, like I'm thinking of him."
"I wonder if you'll ever shut up and help me..."
"I hope he's doing good, seeing as his first ever year of finals is coming up..."
"I hope you'll start pulling your weight, literally..."
"He'll be fine, I know. And it was his idea to take all these hard classes, so I know he'll pull through."
"Wanna know what I know-that it was your idea to lift up this rug. Screw it-I'm just gonna drop it..."
"Well, that's enough reminiscing..." He looked and saw the rug on the floor. "Hey slacker, quit taking a break and pick this thing up, why don't ya."
"Baccus, don't make me kill you a week before finals-I need some time to study, and I can't do that in jail..."
"I'm just joking...geeze, the gall of some people..."
