...well...not that anyone cares...

...But I competed in my school's male "pagent" called Mr. Bulldog. I lost, but one of my best friends got runner up, and I had a lot of fun. Soon, I will put up links or the actual vids for it, but for now, I got nothing. I'd give you a link to the opening dance vid...but it's kinda crappy...quality and otherwise.

Anyway...this is the link for my friends "talent" which he got good marks on (apparently). I don't know what place I got, but I sure had a lot of fun, and I learned some things.

Namely:
1-When planning on performing a skit for a talent, give the other actors more than a day to rehearse/memorize.
2-When performing a skit, make sure that, if it is to highlight you, you don't make a "lovable" character that is n't you.
3-If you do #2, don't kill off that character.
4-Thinking things out ahead of time is nice, but don't overcomplicate or overanalyse-I did, which caused me to try and perform a talent that wasn't that great.
5-Don't doubt your abilities, and don't undercut yourself.
6-Know your audience. I ended up having too witty jokes in my skit that the audience didn't get, and another friend got boo'ed in the interview protion for saying the truth.
7-If everyone else is doing musical talents, that doesn't mean that you can't. I thought me singing would have been too much music, but it turned out that my singing would have probably been better than my skit.
8-If there is an interview portion, help others who may not have good answers. They will most-likely help you back.
9-If there is an interview portion, don't single out 1 question that you don't want to get-because I did, and guess what question I pulled...
10-Having fun is more important than the competion. I'm not saying that you shouldn't try to win, but I am saying that be fair and reasonable, and don't try and get points taken off of people just because you see them as a threat. 2 or 4 of the other competitors tried to do that to one person (much to the chagrin of myself and 2 of the other competitiors) and I believe they got points taken off of them, and the one who they tried to sabotage got best talent, and won.

Also, 2 new videos in production for PNP (our company), so if anyones cares, there is the link.

Bye Bye...
